YoungShip is a professional non-profit organisation for young people working within the global maritime industry. Founded in Bergen in 2004, the initiative spread quickly to other maritime hubs. Today YoungShip is a truly global network with thousands of members and branches in Cyprus, Haugesund, Sorlandet, More, Oslo, Singapore, Stavenger, Rio De Janeiro, Trondheim, Liverpool, Dubai, Mexico, Gothenburg, Italy, Rotterdam, Texas and Mombasa.
YoungShip´s core purpose is to provide a competence and network enhancing arena for our members, and to promote the young professionals in the global maritime industry. We also have a particular focus on developing the young generations´ knowledge and interest for environmental developments, innovation and entrepreneurship.
